What is self-harm?
Self-harm involves physical, self-inflicted injuries that are initiated in an attempt to alter mood or physiological state. Self-harm is a physical expression of how a person is feeling and is used as a way of coping via distraction and release. They may be feeling isolated, frightened or unheard and will hopefully access counselling when they become aware that this method of behaviour is not healthy.
How can Clear Counselling help?
