About Clear Counselling
Counselling provides a confidential and non judgmental environment where you can work through your thoughts and feelings with a trained person centred therapist. We provide the space for emotional exploration and development within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.
Person-centred counselling explores your present problems but also looks into where these problems may be rooted in your past. It can be useful to consider how the past affects us now; and with this new awareness you are equipped to make changes.
Our therapists have a wealth of experience and can provide you with a safe, confidential and supportive space in which to discuss your issues.
The therapy we offer can be short, or long term depending on your needs. To begin with, there will be an initial meeting where we can discuss what you want to work on in therapy. If counselling is considered to be the most appropriate therapy for you, we will agree to regular appointment times. Appointments are usually 50 minutes. Normally 6 sessions are offered to begin with, however there is a flexibility to extend the number of appointments based on individual requirements.

MBACP BA(Hons), Dip Couns, Dip Relate
As a person-centred counsellor and couples therapist, I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of people from clients at the NHS and Relate, to clients in prison or on probation. I recognise the strength it can take to embark on a therapeutic journey and I strive to provide an environment that feels comfortable, confidential and safe. Counselling can be both challenging and rewarding, and having the courage to explore emotions can lead to a deeper awareness of self, acceptance and happiness. I love learning, whether about human behaviour and psychology or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I try to make time for keeping fit, being outdoors and spending time with others. A balance of good relationships and time on my own keeps me happy!

I love my work as a therapist, which has given me great personal insight and enabled me to express my creativity. Whether I’m working with children and teenagers struggling with bereavement and loss issues, adult offenders in a criminal justice setting, or couples who are experiencing relationship setbacks, I am always driven by positivity and thrive on helping my clients build their self-esteem, and find their compassionate voice. Alongside counselling, I have a passion Naturopathy and Nutritional Healing and enjoy cooking, gardening, learning and dancing. I’m currently learning the art of putting my feet up… and loving it!
